star-strewn night

after dinner and a movie, raven said to robin, "thanks for tonight, robin..."

"no problem, rae... but this date isn't over yet..." he said. they hopped on his motorcycle and he told her, "we still have one more stop to make..."

they drove for a couple of miles and finally stopped. raven realized that they were standing in the middle of a grass field. there was no one there, only the stars looking down at them.

"c'mon, raven... come sit with me..." he patted the space beside him and the empath did so.

"what're we here for?" she asked.

"you'll see..."

after a few minutes, a shooting star passed their vision. soon, it was followed by one, two, until the night sky seem to be filled with them.

"beautiful... so beautiful..." raven said, obviously mesmerized by the view they have.

'but not as beautiful as you' robin thought.

"thank you very much, robin..." she said as she placed a kiss on his cheek.

"you're welcome, raven..." he said. 'i think i'll ask her out on a date a second time...'
